Whole Blanched Almonds have been through a process of boiling and then rapid cooling to produce this product. The action taken removes the natural coating seen on the Shelled Almonds and leaves you with a white nut product, quite literally the meaning of “blanching”. They maintain a good crunch and taste less “earthy” than their natural counterparts. These almonds are used in many recipes, normally asking for the consumer to toast them first before adding them to deserts, salads or even breads.
